The woman at the helm

Born and raised on Long Island, NY, Jodi had never imagined herself to be running a Marine Sales & Service business based out of Sunny South Florida. For most of her life, Jodi worked in multiple roles in the healthcare industry. The one role she is most proud of was being

the primary caretaker of her grandparents for close to 15 years until their passing,

both in their late 90's.

In 2017, after the unexpected passing of her husband, Larry Goldman, Jodi was faced with a choice. Keep the business going or close up shop, it's safe to say that she not only kept it going but enhanced the already strong business. 

​

With the knowledge, Jodi had picked up over their 30 years spent together at weekend trips to poker runs, countless boat show visits, and plenty of race weekends, she jumped right into the captain's chair with a lot of emotions but no hesitation. Jodi and the Extreme team went to work, taking a temporary shift away from the high-performance industry to focus on sales and service for family-oriented center consoles. Jodi became the Authorized South Florida dealer for Striper Boats and Release Boats. This proved to be the perfect stepping stone for Jodi as she became acquainted with the Marine Industry. Jodi soon ventured back to the companies roots, picking up more and more service jobs for High-Performance boats such as MTI's, Cigarettes, & Formula Boats.

Soon after, Jodi worked Fran Rittner, Extreme's Director of Operations who has been with the company for over 10 years, and with the former service manager to become the Authorized Service Center for Formula Boats. 

Now, Jodi has kept Larry's dream alive by keeping the business going strong since his passing in 2017 and has no plans of backing off the throttle anytime soon. With the help of the Extreme Team, Jodi hopes to refamiliarize the company to the high-performance world at the races and poker runs in the upcoming season.
